I have tried several of these with my iPad, and often felt that it was silly to carry a stylus. Even the ones with a pen on the other end didn't seem adequate, because I like a fine point pen. Voila! This solves both my problems, and is small to boot. I enjoy using it, and am grateful I found it.

I purchased the original TouchTec several months ago and was pleased to learn that a new and improved version was available. The stylus/pen is sleek and well-balanced, about the size of and just slightly less in weight than a typical Cross pen (it uses Cross refills, a decided advantage because of their ubiquitousness). it's a professional looking writing instrument, not just a stylus.
The soft rubber capacitive tip works well with both my iPhone and iPad. It flows more smoothly and gives me greater control over other styli I have used with Penultimate; my guess is that the smaller diameter may help to minimize resistance. Whatever the reason, my handwriting looks very natural in the program and my note taking speed is increased.

This stylus is the best one out there. It works even better than my own fingers on my Droid. The refillable pen is a bonus. I love that there is no cap to lose and it's the perfect size. Thank you TouchTec!
